Download simCAN ZIP for Windows Open User Guide

The ZIP includes simCAN.exe, the user guide, a README-FIRST file, and checksum information. Start Trial gives one full-featured 7-day trial per email and Windows machine. Activation is required; the app will not open past the splash screen without a valid machine-bound trial or paid license.

What is new in v0.5

v0.5 adds saved per-adapter rate calibration, clearer schedule-versus-target reporting, lower-jitter high-rate scheduling, full CAN frame-identity validation, and honest simulated status in dry-run mode.

Use an external CAN analyzer when wire rate matters. The built-in benchmark reports adapter acceptance; it does not claim receiver delivery.

Windows security note

The v0.5.0 app is not digitally signed with a trusted code-signing certificate. Windows may show an unknown-publisher warning. Download only from simulatedsignals.com and compare the SHA256 hash before running the app.

Trial steps

  1. Download simCAN_windows.zip on the Windows computer you want to license.
  2. Right-click the ZIP and choose Extract All. Do not run the app from inside the ZIP viewer.
  3. Open simCAN.exe from the extracted folder.
  4. Choose Start 7-Day Trial on the splash screen.
  5. Enter your email and optional scenario notes.
  6. simCAN installs a signed full-featured trial license for that machine.

Paid activation steps

  1. Buy simCAN and check your email for the activation key.
  2. Open simCAN on the Windows computer you want to license.
  3. Choose Activate Online on the splash screen.
  4. Paste the activation key from your purchase email.
  5. simCAN installs the signed perpetual app license for that machine.
