Refund Policy

Effective May 24, 2026.

1. Refund window

Refund requests may be submitted within 14 days of purchase by emailing support@simulatedsignals.com with the Stripe receipt email and reason for the request. Customers are encouraged to use the 7-day trial before purchasing to confirm the app works with their bench setup.

2. Before activation

If a license has not yet been issued, refunds are generally easier to approve, subject to fraud checks, payment processor rules, and applicable law.

3. After activation

Because simCAN is downloadable software with machine-bound activation, activated licenses may be non-refundable unless simCAN cannot be made to run on a supported Windows setup after reasonable support efforts.

4. Non-refundable situations

  • Unsupported hardware, drivers, firmware, or operating systems not listed as supported.
  • Misuse, unsafe wiring, incorrect CAN setup, or unsupported bench configuration.
  • Unauthorized copying, sharing, license bypass, or breach of license terms.
  • Custom work, consulting, or special support already performed.

5. Chargebacks

Please contact support before filing a chargeback so the issue can be reviewed quickly. Chargebacks may delay support and license service.
